Good Sony to pair with DVX for wedding?

I need a second camera and can rent either a PD 170 or VX 2100. I'm most concerned about low light performance. Is there a hands down winner? I'd like to rent a DVX, but can't find a reasonable price for a weekend. I've used an XL2 before, and the low light is awful.

Either way, you'll be stuck with 60i and 4:3... and chips that won't match in post. PD170 will give you more control, but I'd find a way to make the DVX happen if I were you.

It will be shot 4:3 and 60i. Not ideal, but that's what it will be. So, given that, is either better at low light or just overall image quality?

Well you have more control on the DVX, but the low light is better on the PD-170 or VX2100. I would try the DVX for up close shots and then the PD-170 for wide shots.
