Good price for XL1???

Hard to say. In today's world of cheap HD and DSLRs you might not even be able to sell it. You said yourself you want to purchase a T2i... the image on that for $800 is leagues beyond what the XL1 is capable of producing... so I can't see anyone going back to a 1/3" SD camera for more money than the entry level Canon HDSLR. It wouldn't make sense for anyone who is even only moderately informed in video tech. You might be able to get $200-$500 for it? It sucks, because it was an awesome camera just 5 years ago.. but you've got to sell before the tech-curve changes. I sold my XH-A1 before the 7D was released and before the HDSLR revolution began. I was able to sell it for almost as much as I payed for it at that time, but now... I probably couldn't even get half the value, maybe $1000-1200...? Unless you have disposable income to just keep buying any new camera that comes out, you've got to stay ahead of the curve and sell before the change takes place. Good luck though.

Thanks for the great reply. I hear some people are buying it for wedding videos. Not sure why, I guess it looks more like "Video".
 
I also have an HV20 I could sell, but I'm not sure I could give that camera up. Anybody think its worth trading a HV20 for a T2i?
