Good on-location Laptop

I'm thinking an older version Macbookpro or just one of those black versions of the Macbook.

What do you guys use?

I will most likely just be using this to edit my dvcpro footage all the time also.

until fcp 6 i used an old 17" 1.0 ghz powerbook G4 in the field and it worked GREAT for injest and basic edits. but i was rudely surprised with a warning message from my new fcp that the machine didnt meet specs and the software quickly closed itself.

the specs say it needs a minimum 1.5 ghz processor and 2 gigs of ram. so logic would go that a 1.5ghz 17" old powerbook should work fine...
