Are following lenses good for shooting video? (old stock)

2. Tokina AT-X 60-120/2.8 FD mount
(Adapter is orderd)

3. Pentax Asahi Super Takumar 135/3.5, Screw mount
4. Pentax Asahi SMC Takumar 55/1.8 Screw mount

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I'd get the Canon 50/1.4 & the Tokina. That Tokina should be good the AT-X models are all quite good lenses, that should be a very useful lens.

135mm f/3.5 - Not sure I'd bother as the Canon 135mm f/2.5 is dirt cheap most of the time and faster - if you need a 135, do that and that way you can use the same adapter as with the other Canons.

55mm f/1.8? Fine lens I'm sure - but just go with the Canon FD 50/1.4, faster and that way you don't need adapters for multiple brands.

I've used both of these lens, and found the video image quality to be excellent at all apertures. The Canon is virtually flawless in every way, but the Tokina has two functional issues that may or may not interfere with your shooting style:

1. It's a one-touch zoom with a large ring that slides along the lens barrel. For video, I much prefer separate zoom and focus rings.

2. The filter mount at the front of the lens rotates as you focus. This makes it awkward to use with a screw-on polarizer.
