Good camera for travel

[onetime1]

What's a good light-weighted camera for travel. One of my friends is going to have a trip to NY with her boyfriend, they are fond of canon. They are not good at photogrphy, they want something easy for use. And they have found a 5% - 10% off coupon from bestbuy. Possibely hey will buy one there, but if you can give them a good deal, they will not.

Do they want to shoot SD or HD? A Canon HV30 would probably be a real good choice for point and shoot HD. Usually, prices at B&H Photo are better than getting 10% off at Best Buy, for cameras and related gear (and they are a whale of a lot more knowledgeable about the products).

Well Robert thanks for your response, I will told him to have a look at the Canon HV30 and go have a look at B&H Photo. vbmenu_register("postmenu_1244561", true);
