Going to Pre-Order Today. Any Vendor Recommendations?

I typically buy gear from B&H but they want the entire $5K down. But I can do that if I need to.

Also, is there any chance at this point of actually getting one without it being back ordered? Yeah, I know it's my fault for waiting so long but hey, better late than never!
 
So, i went with BH. Anyone knows more specificaly when they gonna ship the cams? I just called there and they stay with this info about the 6 or 8 weeks.
 
From what I know. B&H seems to be the cheapest but yeah I can imagine it would be difficult putting down all 5Ks. You can use BillMeLater?

I have not put down a deposit. I have never done anything like that before. I figured I'd just wait until they have them. If I had it by February I'm good for what I have in March. You think supplies will be so exhausted as to make this a dumb move. I wonder if they will they be "in stock" in late January or February?
 
I ordered mine from from James Sicignano at Abel Cine Tech in Burbank. Just had to put down $500 down. They have several package deals with lenses as well, with a nice discount. Their web site is abelcine.com.

Yeah, I got both my HMC150's from Full Compass a while back, plus a bunch of accessories. I got them from Ryan Davis over there. Tell Him Brian Press sent ya! I think he's got the lowest price on the AF100 I have seen anywhere. %10 down! Go get em!

The AF100 will be my first time for Full Compass, longtime B&H buyer. Thought their deposit policy and price were the best available. Shawn reads these boards, and when you speak with him on the phone, you can see he knows this end of the business and sounds like a straight shooter.
 
I went with Abel Cine as well. Their price is the same as B&H, but you can put down a $500 refundable deposit.
Now I just have to figure out the lens situation.
 
Shawn is your man...and I believe I beat him up for the best price...so tell him "Zaza" sent you, and you can get it too!

So any idea as to what all comes with the camera? Different sites say that different things are included. Can they really be shipping the camera with no battery or charger as it says on B&H as none are listed as included? I've never gotten a camera without at least a battery and charger/ac unit.
