I will be traveling to England by the end of the week with my US AC90.
i will have some interviews to film, and I was wondering what would be the best settings to avoid flickering due to the 50hz versus 60...Should I use 1/100th shutter speed, even if I am filming @30fps?
Any feedback and suggestion welcome. I am also bringing Two 500 led lights from the US world voltage power supply, but I don't think I will be able to use them in every interview...

I think you ought to be fine using 1/50 with 30p. I'm not basing that on any first hand knowledge from working overseas, but that would seem correct to me. So 1/100 should also work, but I don't like how the fast shutter speed looks for interviews. As far as shooting at 30p-- will it ultimately be viewed only on the web, and/or on TV in either the US or the UK?

I have no idea how using a light with a US plug in a 50 Hz country with an adapter works. I am curious to hear back how it goes. Those are plug-in lights, not battery powered, right?

Thank you Brandon...
Unfortunately that camera does not have 1/50th shutter. The "slowest" I can go to be within the 50hz is 1/100. Will let you know how it goes...
As far as the lights, they are dual voltage, and I just plug them in with an adaptor and they work just fine...
Thank you again for your kind response.
