God I love the Japanese...

I absolutely can't believe that Canon bought these girls little outfits complete with little white boots, hired a choreographer and did this.

I'm ashamed to admit that I've watched it twice and it kind of makes me want a 7D. :-)

....and I want one of those little 7D outfits for the wife.

Ha ha. The Japanese are BRILLIANT marketers. Let's just say they know what people want :)

I think the RED camera team needs to see this when they think up their marketing scheme for Scarlet.

ha ha. i just remember this joke:

Steven Spielberg was shopping in hongkong. An oriental looking guy approached him for autograph. (He's a movie fan). Spielberg refused and slapped the man. The oriental man was shocked and asked: "why?". Spieldberg replied: "because you japanese bombed the pearl harbor". The man said: "but i am not japanese, i am chinese". But Spielberg said: "Ahhh... japanese, vietnamese, chinese ... it's all the same". Then, suddenly, the man slapped Speilberg. The movie director was surprised and asked why? The oriental man furiously said: "Because you sank the Titanic". Speilberg said: "It wasn't me, it was the iceberg". Then the man said: "Ahhh ... Spielberg, Gettysburg, Iceberg ... it's all the same" :grin:

I remember a version of that joke from when I was a kid... I think I laughed :)

EDIT: Me too I did chuckle at the frowny face... so there's that :)

I didn't mean the people in the video, I meant Canon and the way Japanese companies market themselves...(kind of like their game-shows - weird, yet entertaining)...

Chan-wook Park (Korean) and Takeshi Kitano (Japanese) are my two favourite directors whose films I watch religiously. Believe me, I know the difference.
