I Just recieved a new laserpointer for my glock(not a real gun), so I figured I had
get some screen grabs of it with my DVX. No color correction here.

This is for all you glock lovers out there, I think they turned out pretty well.

oh, and those grabs are so clean and crisp. very nice.

and, I'm assuming that's a blank firer? since you said not real. I've got a few blank firing m92F berettas on the way for a feature I'm working on. Where'd you come across that glock?

Nice glock.
Where does one purchase a fake/prop gun - at a reasonable price? I've heard of using pellet/bb guns, but to me they look too fake.

there's a few good places on the net. All of the different places I've seen on the net run around the same price for everything though. A lot of the handguns are a little over 100 dollars. some a little under.

those may help

Hey guys.
The gun in the picture is a gas blowback bb-gun, but I also have another
glock which is a modelgun(fire real looking blanks), you can buy them at
www.modelguns.co.uk they have a lot of cool stuff :)

yes!! That was the other website I couldn't remember! Thank you, Smettli. They really do have lots of great stuff there.

Very clean. Those two without the correct white balance threw me off kilter for a sec, but understanding that they were just for show... very nice. I want to order some now...

Edit: ooohhh man, the site Lawsuit_Boy pointed out has pirate gear! Sweet!

I bought like five blank firing guns for my feature, and didn't even shoot a single blank during filming (too much hassle)... added effects and everything in post; The guns look great on screen though.

Nice looking gun. I got a gun from the replica sword and gun website but the barrel was plugged and they drilled two small holes in the bolt so the blast came out the side of the gun. You can't see the holes on tape and the blast still looks fine if your far away but where can i buy blank firing guns that dont have the barrel plugged?

can't you remove the plug at the end, eatmyshorts? Because that is the type of blank firer I was going to go with and just take the plug out.

and ChrisLyon... haha, yeah. they have some neat stuff on that site.
