So having a tough time making a decision of which one to get.

wondering if anyone has used either and what is the recommend?

I basically have a 7d, Canon 16-35mm L, and I might use my Marshal 7 inch monitor?

What is the best rig to fly this?

I realize the 2000 is 2 to 6 pounds and the 4000 is 4 to 10 pounds. There is less than a pound of difference in the rigs but from what I hear hand holding these rigs really hurts and you can probably only last a couple minutes without the chest part.

I most likely will not have the chest element and want to figure out what is the way to go here.

I would really like Glidecam 2000 hd and 4000 hd user to weigh in and give me some advice please

cheers and thanks in advance

Id go with the 2000hd, i have a 1000 pro which is the same size as the 2000, and ive played around with the 4000 pro at school, and the size difference is quite a lot. Id say the 4000 would be better suited for something like an HVX200 or larger camcorder. The 1000pro/2000hd, will wear out your arm after even a few minutes of use, i cant imaging tryig to use a 4000 without a vest or something for anything longer than a few 30sec - 1 min shots.

Nothing over a 2000 unless you're on a rig, or you're into pain.

The 2000 is just right for your setup, the 4000 is just over kill.
