Looking to buy a complete Gini rig with follow focus (latest model.) Preferably the Extreme 17 w/ top handle and articulating arms.

I live in San Diego if any locals are looking to get rid of their's.

I have a set of Gini grips I’m willing to part with and a few other pieces. You can see them here i sold the shoulder pad and mount already.

I’m going to be a little busy for the next week in a half but if you don’t find what you need maybe we can work something out. I’m in San Diego so I can show you the gear.

Are you pressed for time or something? Why not just get it from e-bay ($300 for a complete setup)? Then $25 shipping, but probably takes somewhere near a month to deliver.

Okay, well... I was VERY interested in Indisystems. They make some great gear, but at the same price point, I found a Gin rig that looked great with a FF. So i sprung for that. $299+$25 shipping. Its a nice shoulder setup and I love the FF. Took about 1 month to ship. But I had no problems, and everything was packed well.
If you want something in the same range, then have a look at indiRAILSpro XVsm

With a FF, it'll run you under $350... and they are state side.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have the Cavision shoulder system, it's quite similar to the Indirailspro.

Wow, you got it that cheap huh? His shipping prices has gone way up, I paid $75, hopefully that also means an upgraded shipping service.

How are you liking your Gini shoulder rig by the way?

Well, I got my Gin about half a year ago. I live in Hungary, but i have family in the states. It was $25 to the US, and $50 to Hungary.
I havent looked at his prices lately, and there is some fuss over his new cages, because he/they choose a non standard screw hole for accessories. (Probably just drill and tap them easily though)
But his shoulder riges are still a good buy.
His prices are really all over the board, i think mainly just to grab buyers, but often he puts a rig up for $299 and $399.
I bought a
DSLR RIG DSL-17 MAGIC plus + i focus (new Follow Focus) This is about the same as i have, minus the C-top handle, also he has redesigned the shoulder pad i see, also mine has all black rods:

Yes, I love my rig, the shoulder is a tad hard and i'd like it to be a little lighter (all metal rods, ill probably get carbon rods down the road). But its VERY solid! Holds my camera, LED light, H4n recorder, and 2 - 2000mAh batts.
It came with a few extra rod extensions so the rig will adjust to fit your style and camera setup out of the box. There is NO flexing and it feels very ridged.

From what I see, his shipping prices have shot way up... But hopefully his FINAL buying prices have dropped.
I had to add a quick release plate to my rig and it only came with 1 accessory arm, so i added a zip FF ring ($7) and a screw on ring ($12) + the Q release plate from other ebay sources... about $40 extra.

I'm seeing a lot more companies have entered and offer something very competitive to what Gin is offering. But at the time, Gin was/is a VERY professional value. Easily matches some of the $1k setups.
Hope that helps.

That sounds fantastic! Now I'm even more excited. You're quite right about his price consistency, I don't know why he thinks it's a good marketing idea.
I purchased his Extreme 17 rig with the iFocus, monitor arms, & counter weights... I do wish he sold extra parts like offset railblocks, monitor arms and such though.

Now, I'm going to work out my arms for all that heavy gear I'll be holding.
