AC130: Ghost Effect (Urgent Help)

I made a test shot with my AG-AC130. Everything went well but I think I have some settings wrong.
I made a upload to Vimeo. And when people are moving across the screen they get a ghost like look
I hope someone can help me with this because I have more projects like this in 1 week

Are you shooting progessive??? Just remember in the USA they are shooting at 30 frames a second and at 1/60th second...I'm assuming you are in Europe so we are PAL so our frame rate is only 25 frames a second and 1/50th shutter normally...that will immediately cause motion blur when a skater goes across the field of view!!! If your shutter is any slower it will be worse.

If you were shooting 1080 25P then you have two options with the 130... shoot in 1080 50i ..with interlacing you won't have any motion blur issues at all OR drop down to 720 and use the double frame rate ..ie: 720 50P ...that will solve the problem!!

Hi Lars

50i should handle fast subjects easily!! Were you using a manual shutter perhaps ..even at default 1/50th you shouldn't get any motion blur unless the cam switched down to 1/30th.... I'll let the other experts here also decide!! Just one other thing??? ..you must make sure that you are not creating an issue in post!! Play the footage in camera and if it's clear there then you may have an issue during editing..not likely but worth checking to make sure you are not trying to correct a camera fault that isn't there!!

I think the error is in post, I use Final Cut X to edit and let the app import from the SD card I also made a direct copy from the SD card to a external HDD

It was a setting in Final cut X the project properties jumped to 1080i 25p I changed them to 1080p 50p and everything is ok now
