GH5 GH5s Dual Native ISO Missing a Setting?

I thought it was solved, lol.

VFR mode, no? He's using 240fps over 29.97p.

The pieces add up but who knows. Good luck :)

Joseph wrote back to me and was confounded by my findings as well. He stated he was told by Panasonic that 1250 was the crossover point even though variable frame rate changes the 800 ISO crossover setting to 1250. He asked to see this thread and I even told him about your referral to the Newsshooter site.

The Newsshooter article was just copying and pasting the manual...anyone could have posted that on their own review/blog/etc. site.

Although they are always pretty thorough with the write-ups.

And anyone here who felt like helping could have spotted it too.

I just randomly saw it first when I jumped on trying to figure it out. I don't know anything about the YouTubers, but I have worked with pretty much every camera in the world (99%) and there is nothing really peculiar about this.

All cameras can and do behave differently.

Well, all I can say is my very first video camera was a little Sony camcorder, then the Canon XL1s. Tried the DVX100b and my world was rocked and have been using Panasonic ever since. Followed that up with the HPX 170, 250, 370. I refused to buy into the DSLR hype, preferring to use "proper" video cameras like the 250 or shoulder mount 370. My curiosity got the better of me and I tried the Nikon D810 and was floored. Saw a picture of the GH5, was mesmerized by the specs and the fact it looked like it was built like an Abrams tank. My curiosity won and I purchased one. After testing it and picking myself up off the floor, I sold ALL of my camcorders in one fell swoop and have been using the GH5 exclusively, never looking back. The GH5 is revolutionary! The images are great, controls fantastic and you can pretty much shoot any type of content you want with it.
