Hi, I will reach central Africa, I will be in the bush where there aren't trees, so I will have days full of light and I will film also black people on the red earth.
I will shoot in UHD only and with Leica 12-60. Can you suggest the best settings for my GH5 please? For me it will be the first video wirh GH5 and I'm afraid to make some errors.
Thanks for your suggestions.

First suggestion is to get a screw-on Variable ND filter to attach to your lens so that you can control the bright daylight.

Beyond that, it is difficult to make suggestions without knowing your style. Do you want footage that looks good enough straight out of the camera, or do you want to be able to "dial-in" the picture in post once you are back at your computer?

Joe, thanks for your suggestions. Yes I want, would like the footage that looks good enough straight out of the camera but often I have to shoot in automatic (S mode) and many times I have to modify some/many clips with chromatism, brightness, contrast or color saturation, I have to do it in post production. Usually I shoot in UHD "Panorama mode" 59,94p 150 Mbps 4:2:0 8bit.

Ok, I thank you but I'd like to know also the settings of GH5, for example: ISO, shutter, iris, etc.

Always found Natural picture profile best on mine,i am surprised you will only be using a wide angle lens.

@Fox Adriano Set your zebras at 100% and your shutter angle at 180 degrees. Open or close the aperture until the zebras disappear from important highlights in the scene. And be sure to pick up the Leeming LUT for the best color. You can find more info about it here:

Thanks a lot for your precious news. Out of curiosity: if I want footage looks good enough straight out of the camera, how can I set my GH5?
