GH5 GH5 Battery Run-Down Tests...

I bought from B&H and went to pick up in Ogdensburg. Just an hours ride for me from Ottawa. I too got it when it was on a special price. Worth a drive for you just across the border ?
 
Thanks for letting us know, mine shipped this afternoon! When recording 60p to the Atomos Ninja Inferno, I'm getting about 45 min to an hour before the internal battery dies. Then when I replace it the fstop & wb need resetting. No big deal but it will be nice to have longer lasting batteries. And to get two 7800 mAh batteries & dual charger (the station acts as a charger), plus the adapter/dummy battery for 199 seems an awfully good deal - although deals like this make me wonder if something better is about to be released. . .

Thanks for posting this info. I've been wondering what may be draining the GH5 battery so quickly, and didn't consider 10 bit to be a factor.

I'm spoiled by the battery life of the GH3/GH4, and have run into issues shooting long events with the GH5. I bought the Atomos Power Station during that one day special, and glad I did. Its too bulky for hand held work, but its fine when shooting on a tripod.
