Anyone measured the HDMI latency yet?
From what I have see so far from bts footage the GH5 seems to have the same issue as the GH4. It would be a shame if Panasonic hasn't addressed this issue.
Thats crazy steady...for a handheld shot.
So thats the 'new' 100-300mm i presume then.
Reading the specs, it was shot at 4k 60p and slowed down a bit, maybe this is the cause that looks choppy. It does look nice. I wonder if the shutter speed was "off" a bit from the standard rule. Looks a bit choppy.

Super!
It would be interesting to know how the 709 Like option with adjustable Knee performs in comparison with VLogL.
It is my understanding that the dynamic range of the GH5 is essentially the same as the GH4.709 isn't a gamma designed for lots of DR. It's a standardized look, it's a "typical HD" look. Having adjustability in the knee can extend the point where the highlights clip, but it won't come close to VLOG-L for dynamic range.
My understanding is that (debayered) sensor output is linear which contains relatively few shades of grey. For instance the highest stop of brightness takes half of all sensor data, the stop below a quarter and so on.Raw sensor output for DR is about the same. Processing is better, which means we'll get closer to seeing the full raw sensor output of DR at its best, in vlog.
