GH4 GH4 shipping in the US now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your post almost makes me want to order one...

I'm very curious to see some opinions / footage come out of it!
 
I was tempted to order but I have it pre-ordered with B&H and they might get the GH4's this weekend if Samy's has them in stock.

Yeah, I just seen that. Oh well, I will just wait since there is no way for me to cancel with B&H until they open and I don't mind waiting until next week since I was not expecting it until April 30.
 
Very tempted to order one. Wish I could sell my GH3. Love my GH3 but not sure if I need two cameras. My wife will murder me if I buy a GH4 without selling my GH3.

If I had an older camera the decision might be a lot easier.
 
HAHAHAHAHAHA oh yea, I just pay the bills, buy her something nice and show up with a box with a new camera. That usually buys me a little leeway.....a little.

I'd keep the GH3 (I have one) - depending on the project, it's worth having two cameras.
 
Pretty certain I can finally swap my GH2 for a 'DSLR' with a headphone jack since badly needed AC repair on all our cars came in well under budget.


unfortunately I haven't settled on the GH4 or A7S yet. I wish one of them displayed a tendency to burst into flame or make all your interview subjects look like Abe Vigoda or something that would make the choice easy.

You have to talk to the right person there. They will have camera bodies there later today. However, most of them will go towards filling pre-orders. Probably won’t ship to customers until Monday west coast time though.

If you are using them professionally for jobs of course you need a back up camera. And what best to have: a brand new GH4 as main camera and a GH3 as a back up! Heck, I still have my GH2. As soon as I get the GH4 I can have a 3 camera shoot if I need. Love my GH cameras!

You would think Panasonic have learned a thing or two from their past GH initial deliveries. Competition and market conditions makes it imperative for them to deliver as good and and timely as possible. I can't wait. The GH4 is going to be one awesome camera!
