Thought I would post a lens test using the Samayng 12mm t2.2 M4/3rds mount Cinema lens. I had horrible luck with this lens, it took four copies to get one where I could actually turn the barrel, unfortunately the fourth copy was by far the softest of the bunch. I didn't bother making another trip to UPS to send it back as I figured I may end up with another unusable lens. Despite the soft characteristics the lens, it sharpens up at around f4-. I shot hand held, using walls, mailboxes and the ground for stability, didn't lug any sticks. Used colorista to grade it lightly. Would I buy this lens? Only if I could test it first, online, NOPE!
