Any advice would be appreciated on how to get the GH4 to record audio from an attached external microphone. I recently rented a GH4 along with a Rode NTG4+ mic. When I turn on the mic and plug it into the GH4 via an XLR to 3.5inch adapter, nothing happens. The "special mic" option in the GH4 menu remains grayed out, and the sound continues to be recorded through the builtin mic. I'm trying to figure out what could be wrong.
