GH4 GH4 file thumbnails in Windows 7

[Vesku]

How can I see them? I see only file icons without thumbnail image with 100Mbs files. Windows Media Player cant play them and says "missing codec". I have not installed GH4 cd.

Windows Media Player

LOL. VLC should play them just fine.

I use Potplayer and it plays 4k videos well. My issue is why Windows 7 cant show file preview thumbnails (icons). Can anybody see them in Windows 7 file window?

1080p files will show thumbnails, but Windows (I have 7) can't understand 4K video quite right.

I installed K-Lite codec pack and now my Win7 shows 4k icons and plays files. Some has said that it may cause problems when installing codec packs but lets see.

I have been having the same problem with my 64-bit Win7 and 4K files. The specs on this PC are crap, but I'm going to give that K-Lite a try. I have the GH4 software installed and I can preview pictures from there, but can't do anything past that.

Try Icaros shell extensions. Sadly doesn't work with Cineform but this should solve it for you. You can turn it on and off for Cineform but you lose the others.

I didn't have thumbnails for 4K files until the other day when my MPC-HC player updated, which included the K-Lite pack. Thumbs work great now.
