GH3 GH4 Cinema 4K is 24fps, not 23.976fps?

"4K" is a Digital Cinema (DCI) term that refers to a film projection format whose dimensions are specified as 4096x2160 at 24.0 fps. This is one of the formats used to deliver modern feature films to commercial movie theaters.

A video whose dimensions are 3840x2160 at 23.976 fps is in "Quad HD" format. It is an extension of the 1920x1080 "Full HD" 23.976 fps format that is used in Blu-Ray discs and digital broadcast television.

Thomas is correct. I am actually dealing with exactly this problem, because we had 2x GH4's and external audio and one was set at 24 and the other 23.976. Editing isn't such a problem, but if you wanted to do multicam or sync audio using Pluraleyes, etc, it s a major problem.

Weird. Audio files don't have any inherent 'frame rate'. 1 second of sound lasts for 1 second, whether it's paired with 24 fps footage or 60 fps footage.
