thanks dazza, is it compressed or pure?
its rather complicated...read this STICKY thread. from what i recall its uncompressed "pure" but with some framerate issues....that can be solved with a avisynth script.

It is 8-bit, with 4:2:0 chroma that's kind of screwed up, a nonstandard frame cadence, and no audio.
Although, for someone in a PAL country, I would guess that the 50Hz frame cadence would be standard with no pulldown issues. The odd cadence surely only applies to NTSC units, as part of the NTSC version's usage of a 60.00i frame rate instead of the standard NTSC of 59.94i.
