GH2 XLR mic in with Audio Monitoring with this single cable.

Anybody know if this would work? / have tried? Use this cable with GH2 to plug up an XLR mic, and also plug in headphones to the same cable to monitor your recording? Of coursse you would also have the 2.5inch male to 3.5inch female adaptor on but that goes without saying.
