GH2 Gh2 wedding Remixed

Hi i dont think the 14-140mm is up to that sort of job,i moved from canon to a GH2,most wedding pros use canons for their work like this guys http://vimeo.com/20090102
w
ith the right lenses GH2s may compete but i am not sure,i am sure no pro mind.

For some number of shots it seemed that the saturation was less than... giving a 'softness' that may not have been there. There is a 'haze' filter shot, and I'm not a fan of haze filters in general...

A little over use of the 'slow mo'. I'd also recommend trying some speed ramping for some of the reception shots.

While it may be beneficial to have a 'day recap' at the end of the movie, I don't know about cutting back and forth from reception to earlier ceremony, then back to reception...

For me the biggest difficulty with the 14-140 lens is the speed for wedding coverage. There is the issue of the 'focus drift' even when one selects AFS, in movie mode the focus drifts, so one
has to switch between MF and AFS to have the benefit of easy focusing.

On some of the shots, framing needs work. For example at 00:26 the Groom is really crammed into the left side of the frame. There's a pillar behind the bride, so I would have preferred to have the groom
more in the shot. Or go totally 'over the shoulder' of the groom to get nearly a groom POV. (That's shot's reused at about 04:10 as well). As a note didn't like the really slow dissolve to groom. I didn't like the angle of that shot.

"Table Shots"... use the 14mm lens and get up higher to show the whole table, then move down to perhaps a waist level and track (better with a steady cam... but who can afford that...).

I'd also recommend thinking about getting a 'high angle down' on the reception activities. Some of the eye level stuff gets boring after a while.
