GH3 GH2 vs. GH3

Sorry if there's already a post about it. I'm new and haven't figured out the site too much yet. But I'm currently trying to choose between the GH2 and GH3. I'm shooting mostly skateboarding and I want the GH3 for the 1080p 60 frames but I've been told that apparently the GH3 crops more than the GH2, hence my fisheye lens wouldn't be as wide. Is this true or have I just been misinformed?

Yes, as Jim said, it's very little difference, it's about one step back to get the same framing.

As far as 60p goes. I think the 720, 60p mode is pretty good with a hacked gh2. To tell you the truth, the same 720, 60p video on my canon is virtually unuseable.

I remember seeing a video online comparing the 720, 60p on the gh2 with the1080, 60p on the gh3, if I remember correctly, I didn't see a huge difference. I imagine you would notice it much more blown up on a big screen, but for web, it's not to drastic.

...For fun I've ordered a fisheye adapter ( from Amazon: supposedly it's a Vivitar Series 1 lens with 180 degree angle of view ) for my Panasonic LX7 pocket camera that shoots 720p 120fps video. It might not be usable for your needs, but I will post about it once I get a chance to shoot something with it.
