GH2 GH2 US model 25P compatiblity in europe

Hello, I live in spain and Im looking at ebay USA, to buy a Gh2 because I am can see second hands and other deals, even brand new gh2 are cheaper than european prices. My question is if I buy one of these , am i going to have compatiblity problems? I mean is this going to be 25P Pal the same if I buy the camera in europe?

The off-the-shelf U.S. camera offers no 25P or 50i options. If you install "hacked" firmware, which is a simple reversible process, then you will have both these "PAL" options, plus you can avoid the 29min recording limit in PAL-market cameras.

Edit: by the way, after hacking the camera from ntsc to pal, you'll find you need to reformat your SD card in the camera before using in the first time.

The camera can be switched over to PAL/NTSC with a simple hack, that is 100% reversable/safe.
Just remember to formate your card in camera AFTER switching your REGION preference.
