GH2 GH2 Third Lens Recommendation

Hi everyone, I shoot business videos and some events. I tend to do at least 1 interview per video and a combination of indoor and outdoor shooting. Most of the time everything is lit properly. However, there are times when I don't have proper lighting or time to set up or what not. I currently have been shooting with the 14-140mm kit lens and Canon FD 50mm 1.4 (for low light). I would like some suggestions for a third lens that can help with lower light situations, convenience to save time setting up from different primes and more focal length versatility, so another ZOOM lens, I believe? Also, if I shot using the Canon and 14-140mm for the same shoot, would it be difficult to match the color in post? If so, should I try to keep my lenses from the same manufacturer? Price: Under $1000 Thanks!

Think about the Lumix (Leica) 25mm f/1.4 which is fast enough for indoor work and matches the 14-140mm quite well. Plus, it's quite an excellent lens in and of itself.

So, getting a faster f/2.8 zoom lens wouldn't be worth it to replace the 14-140mm? Would f/2.8 be good enough for lower light situations? Or go with something like the Leica 25mm f1/4, which I can do interior wides and moved in, I can do interview shots also?

If you have the freedom to move the camera, I'd rather go with the faster lens. In my line of work, I don't always have that freedom, so I need the slower zoom.

The advantage of m4/3 is you can use almost and lease on it. I actually have a TV Zoom (f1.7) but do have to use it in ETC mode. Also a little more info would be usefull. Are you looking for a wide or long zoom and are you shooting on a tripod (in which case the Olympus lenses are a good option.

http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dsc/connect/gh2.html list compatible lenses (i.e. ones that d autofocus etc).

@Funky Something like the Olympus 14-52mm range is my ideal range, I don't need anything longer for video. Maybe an 85mm down the road for that shallow DOP interview look. I don't shoot stills. But is the F/2.8 good enough for those lower light situations? I always use a Tripod and/or Shoulder Rig for my work. I never go hand held. I prefer to manually focus. I don't use an FF and Mattebox yet but I will soon. So, maybe also lenses that work with this setup as well. Maybe the new Rokinon 35mm T.15 Cine Lens? I shoot mostly wide interiors and interview shots and some establishing shots. Thanks

Get the Voightlander 25mm, you won't regret it.
Was looking for a low light situation lens myself, first picked up de slr magic 12mm but the copy was soft, then the 12-35 2.8 but for low light 2.8 is not enough on the m43 system and now discovered the magic of the Voightlander 25, it really is magic !

Can you use a follow focus with the Voightlander 25mm?

I'm a huge fan of the canon fd 35mm f2. It has real character, and rarely do I find I need a higher f stop when filming. Heres a still from a shoot, ungraded. vlcsnap-2013-01-15-21h32m36s29.jpg
