GH2 GH2 & nanoFlash problem

I guess this is a niche question as I presume not many peeps use the GH2 with the nanoFlash but if by any chance there are I'd like to see If anyone's encountered this:

Basically I cannot get any link between them. The nanoFlash doesn't see the GH2 ('NO SRC'). It also has a 'codec errors' appear. Convergent Design support say this happens when anything over 1080/30 is selected. But of course the GH2 doesn't go higher in 1080. I've tried all types of configurations...

Definitely the cable. I've read about this problem before and it turned out to be the cable.

Rest assured the Nanoflash works with the GH2. Barry Green used his many times when we were testing my Avisynth script. Make sure the input is set to 1080 60.00i and not 59.97i.

Thanks, I'm aware that some people have had success, which is why i'm so flabbergasted. Usually in situations like these it's always some small detail I've overlooked.
I will try to get a different cable (Type C to Type C) as I'm using a Type A converter right now.
