Hi all,

I'm looking into getting a GH2 and want to find a good video lens for it that has a stabilizer built it. My requirement is a zoom lens with constant aperture. Here are 2 I am considering, although I'm not sure whether the Canon or Nikon versions are better and which adapter to get.

Sigma 17-50

Tamron 17-50

The canon 24-105 is awesome, but a bit pricey and slow (f4).

The only thing that will work is native m43 lenes and the only lens with stabilization are made by panasonic.

There is currently not a way to use stabilization from deferent lines of camera manufactures.

There is company called Birger that is working on it but at this point it might be vaporware.

Also note that canon EF lens control the apature electronically. Redrock has a product for that over here which is the only one that I know of that is currently available.

Panasonic is releasing two new zooms next year, 12-35mm and 35-100mm, that hopefully will be fast and have IS. Fast zooms with IS is a sore spot for the M4/3 format.
