GH2 in stock thread

Oh, and now that I know it works, I can impart some advice on getting the GH2 from PD faster--cancel your order and order the silver body instead. Only the black body is back ordered until the edge of infinity; they have plenty of silver bodies. Nevermind this FPN recall BS. The problem was that everyone chose the black body.

I got the black body with the 14-42 today off of Amazon, for an extra $100 mind you (1099). Maybe I'm part of the problem, but I could resist no longer.

You know whats even harder than waiting on the delivery of your new GH2? Waiting on the battery to charge. I am now at that stage WOOOOOOOOOOT

I orderd one with the 14-140 lens from Provantage 1-19-11. Got an email today saying it has shipped. $1338.

thanks hrdboiled! just sold my hacked gh1 yesterday on ebay and here comes my gh2 from samy's camera (eventhough have to pay ca sales tax). i had nightmares last night i took a bad risk and would have to wait months for the gh2 like i did for the gh1, but God is good!

Call and ask. I changed my order to the silver body last week and it was shipped out the next day. They were able to confirm with me that they had plenty silver body GH2s.

adorama charged me an unknown $50 charge to my credit. Hopefully it means that its almost in the process of being shipped???
