GH2 GH2 - Horizontal line ruining video in low light

Hello all,
I recently purchased a GH2 and immediately noticed a seemingly significant problem - a single horizontal line that cuts through the video in low light. The position of the line can be moved up and down depending on the shutter speed. The examples are shot in very low light (ISO was around 3200) to highlight the problem, but this can crop up in at lower ISOs as well. The first is shot at 1/125 shutter speed (720 60p) and the second example was shot with 1/60 second (line seen at the very top). Is this a defective camera?

So it is only noticable in low light, with any lens ? if so it looks like a defective camera,i have never had that with my GH2.

I get the same thing, but mine is more of a shadow line and not as sharp as yours. The line moves when I change shutter speed as well. I am thinking of contacting Panasonic about it and see if it's defective? Hopefully we can find a solution as it has ruined a few shots!

Another GH2 (new) is on order from eBay. I was able to buy a body for $800. Hopefully this new one won't exhibit the same problem. I guess I won't be able to sell this cam to any of you? :)

trix-> hopefully you'll get a no-banding unit. I tried to do the same and sent back my first GH2 (from Dec 2010) and got a newer one (from March 2011). Unfortunately it also shows this sort of banding at high ISOs. But honestly I never use anything above ISO800 in very low light so it doesn't bother me that much.
