Just an FYI:
Listen to the AUDIO; the video is junk.
This is a test of a WindTech "Mic Muff windscreen" #MM-52 "fur" windscreen/windjammer on a GH2's built-in stereo mic. The GH2 mic is part of the camera's flash unit. When the flash is in its pop-up position, the windshield fits over the mic/flash perfectly. It has elastic to hold it securely in place. The built-in mic is sometimes adequate for recording ambient sound, but of course is no substitute for using a pro mic properly placed to obtain quality sound recording.
The fur windshield makes a GH2 look a bit like a Troll doll, but it's very effective at eliminating light-to-moderate wind noise. I prefer this solution to the camera's Wind Cut feature. Wind Cut is a low freq. roll-off filter which throws away sound info without really preventing wind noise. A fur windscreen is much more effective and sounds much better.
This test was shot with the GH2's sound recording level set to 1, its lowest setting. Later I might have time to shoot a test video with & without the windscreen on the mic, but trust me: Without the windscreen this audio would have been a rumbling, wind noise mess!
The built-in mic isn't very directional, so when in its pop-up position the mic mic actually faces toward the back of the camera. However, this doesn't much affect its use for recording ambient sound.
Note: Of course, the Mic-Muff blocks use of the flash, but you're not actually using your GH2 for still photography are you? ;-)
I bought the Mic-Muff from Trew Audio because they assisted me in determining which windshield would fit the GH2's pop-up mic/flash:
