GH2 Gh2 focus problems

As i have had this camera 17 months i should no know to use it and i doubt the problem is my doing but today with the kit 14-140mm lens on AF would not work! either on AFC or AFS,but on iA mode the focus was as instant as its always been,but in video or any other mode no AF,i dont want iA mode as i want a higher bit rate and manual exposure.
Later at home i tested my other 2 zooms the 14-42 and 45-200mm and they are the same! no AF except in iA mode,my 14 and 20mm pancakes do seem to have AF although they dont seem 100% to me.
One thing i have noticed a few times is the yellow and white squares flash about the screen before disappearing again.
Any thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated.
 
HBR but AF has worked fine since last year,i have sent it to panas servise centre as i was told me after talking it through with an engineer.Thanks.
 
by the way, in HBR mode, my autofocus isent good to, that will say, after some minutes off filming.
it starts oké, and finally its gets hard for the focus to keep sharp.
 
As i was told i sent back the camera body only,today i have had an email saying the camera works with their lenses,i told them in inteligent mode auto AF works instantly but it in HBR and in video mode AFwont work ,if i press the AF/AE lock button by the viewfinder the camera focuses up strait away, the button needs pressing again if a subject moves away or different field of view needed,they say i may have to send one of my lenses but how can the lenses all be at fault when they work in iA mode perfectly ?

The HBR has been on my camera since late last year and it has never affected AF.
 
HBR ONLY WORKS if you set the camera to manual film mode.
and AF/AE lock button, doesn't work in manual film mode.
if you press the red film button, its 720 or 1080i, depending on what you have set in the menu.

Thanks but my problem is not getting HBR to work,my roblem is getting AF in any mode other the inteligent auto,HBR is 25P in pal areas.
