GH2 Firmware update released

Know it's slightly off the AF100/1 topic, but since so many of us have GH2s, you might like to know that the firmware update has been released, giving higher bit rate AVCHD (24Mbps) and 25p (though I can't see where it is selectable). Be warned, the update will nullify the hack if you have it; apparently Vitaly is working on it now. Make sure you're downloading the Mac link and you're getting the Zip file, not the PC's EXE version. Once you have the BIN extracted from the ZIP- that's the firmware. Read the instructions on how to install from there.

Does the GH2 still have the dark bar/band issue? I'm getting one for on set stills, but would like to use it for video as well (and to compliment my AF).

Wasn't the GH2 24Mbps to begin with? That seems to be the specs i see online.

It is worded improperly. That is the 25/30p mode.
