I could really use your help. I have a music video coming up soon and need to purchase both an ND filter and support system for my GH2. I thought I was good to go with the Indisystem DSLRsm package, with the follow focus, matte box, and shoulder mount, along with the Fader ND 4x4 filters...but this all ended up being incompatible with the GH2 and pancake lens. The follow focus prevented the matte box from sliding all the way up to the lens, and the filters inside the matte box does not counter rotate, which is necessary to make the Fader ND 4x4 filters to work.
So now I need to make sure what I will be purchasing will DEFINITELY work. I decided to forget about the matte box and just go with a screw on ND lens filter. I work with primarily the pancake lens, but also the lumix fisheye and 14-15mm lens. If you could please tell me exactly what ND filter you would recommend along with the step up/step down rings required, I would REALLY appreciate it.
In addition, I need a handheld solution for working with the GH2. I'm all set with a slider, Kessler crane, and tripod...but this video will require handheld shots to make the shots a bit more interesting AND for following the subject along sidewalks and through parks. Please give me your best recommendations.
Ideally, I want to keep the cost of both the ND filter and the support system under $1500. Thank you in advance for your time and help. I'm desperate for all of your expertise.
