GH2 dynamic range tested in video mode? Also, 4:2:2 question

Hey there, has the dynamic range of the gh2 in video mode been properly tested by any chance? I saw it was tested in still mode, and according to DXO is actually a tiny bit less than the gh1 for some reason, and was around 11 stops. Article here - http://front1.dxomark.com/index.php...xOMark-review-for-the-Panasonic-Lumix-DMC-GH2

Keep in mind this is in still mode, so I'm not too hopeful for video mode. Coming from a sony ex1r, my only worry with switching at this point is the sensor and imaging pipelines dynamic range, which for some reason seems an article of discussion that's been more or less ignored for all the dslrs.

Also, while reading through the hacks threads, I saw something about 4:2:2. So a couple questions - has the firmware on the gh2 already been hacked? and if so, is there really an option to allow me to record to a 4:2:2 color sampled higher bitrate codec, instead of 4:2:0? that might just seal the deal for me!

Thanks! :bath:

prolly no hack for months even if its possible. hdmi really for monitoring to get better focus. the horizontal banding issue might stay with us for long time until panny has a compelling reason to fix. gh2 aint the holygrail. i still want it though... but at much cheaper price. 14-140 kit at $1200, $1100, $1000...
