The big reason I was going to the gh2 was for the full hdmi out. The banding issues and not full hdmi, I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Seriously, hdmi out at 1080p would have (if it proves not to be) a MASSIVE bonus. At this price point, the GH2 is frankly amazing just the way it is.
