Snow storms at Grand Canyon are spectacular. On February 19 & 20 a snow storm visited Grand Canyon South Rim. These clips compare the day before, during and after the storm.

Panasonic GH2
Panasonic 14-140 & f1.7 20mm lens
Gitzo Basalt GT1830 & Benro Travel Angel tripods
Acratech Leveling Base
Manfrotto 700RC2 head

Gorgeous with nice framing and composition -- really very nicely done in all aspects - enjoyed it immensely.

Thanks for watching tflak. The weather cooperated totally with the project plan. I had two 30 minute breaks in the weather to shoot the blue sky segments.

What film mode and settings was your GH2 set on Dan,great film.

Flinty,

1080/60i (FSH), Vibrant, +1 Sharpening, +1 Saturation, 0 Exposure Compensation in most cases, White Balance on snow when needed, no filters.

Thanks for watching and the kind words.

Thanks Dan,i did not think it looked vibrant + 1 saturation i find mine has too much color using vibrant unlike yours,i have tried all the pal frame rates and still dont know which i prefer ,one thing i could not use 24P without a tripod or if panning is involved,720P looks better than i expected for me,great filming again.
