Every little bit helps! Large or small, it'll all go toward the production and completion of the feature.

Beginning Principal Photography in a few days, we'll be using the GH-1 w/hack or GH-2 with Cooke lenses to deal with tight spaces, and shooting right beside two RED MX Cameras with the same lenses.

Check out the USER FILM thread here: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=223805

And subscribe! There'll be LOTS of BTS, info on shooting a feature on a low budget, writing process and putting the feature out there, much much more.

There are also a lot of other User Films there, although it doesn't get much traffic. Check 'em out!

I posted here because I participate in this forum a lot and could use the traffic. Again, every little bit definitely helps.

Thanks gang! Any questions, head on over to the USER FIlms section and post them there. I'll be happy to answer!

Looks like some enterprise to borrow money actually :-)
Or I am wrong?
How GH2 is related to this (it is not available really)?

Kickstarter is used to help fund projects. Kholi is well known on the board for producing awesome work. I think he plans on shooting some of it with the GH2 if its released in time.

Best of luck with the project Kholi. I'll give it a read when I have some time,

Kegan

Haha. You're wrong.

The site is designed to help filmmakers launch their project by selling their rewards.

Also, GH2 is out in japan in October. Anyone remember what happened when GH1 first came out?

It's just a decision on whether or not I used a hacked GH1 instead.

Thanks for the words, Kegan.

I've seen people have some great success with kickstarting a project. I plan on doing this for my feature. A friend of mine raised 16k for her project through friends, kickstarter and facebook.... Not bad for a month...

Good luck Kholi! You can do eet! I seriously wish I could afford to fund the whole damn thing.

Thanks Akira! I wish you could to! Haha. But throw in one dollar whenever you get a chance!

Even that helps us get to the front page to be noticed by more people.

Super easy, just sign in with Facebook and drop a buck.

Also, thanks for reposting it on your FB! You roooock.

Looks fun. I'm gonna donate. Simply cause I plan to use kickstarter on some of my projects and what goes around comes aorund.

Please get better sound than you has in the kickstarter trailer though!

LoL! Yeah the sound was TERRIBLE!

I did get better sound, though.

Stills and more coming to the other thread.

Set a very insane shooting goal for the production, will tell tomorrow if we actually hit it.

KICKSTARTER PAGE UPDATE!: New Kickstarter Video's Live! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2099062204/superseeds-a-super-powered-action-comedy?ref=search
Our kickstarter pages has reached 12,300.00US and we're about thirty percent off of our goal! It's been a short ride and I'm grateful for everyone that's chipped in for a reward.

There's still a nice chunk more to go, so I invite you to check out the BRAND NEW KICKSTARTER VIDEO that's been posted which features some [rawish] footage from our shoot, and quick snaps of what BTS footage we have.

It'd be nice to have a fulltime BTS guy! I'm checking for that now.

If you have the spare change, please chip in. This is a huge DVXuser project, as most of the crew met on DVXuser and frequents DVXuser near-to-daily. This is where I pretty much grew up and the community is awesome, we would greatly appreciate even a dollar dropped, the more the merrier

As soon as we reach our goal and receive our funds we'll be kicking out those sweet Rewards, so grab yourself one!

Got some great scenes coming up where we're employing the GH-13 w/some PL Glass for vehicle interiors and some sweet movements. Looking forward to it in a massive way.

Thanks for the support guys and check out the thread as well: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthrea...-Films-Kholi-)&p=2132671&posted=1#post2132671

Okay, guys,

you are nutty as a fruit cake! I love it.

A super-low-budget-fantasy-action-comedy? Of course this won't work and that exactly is the reason I donated. There is one motto coming from an German film that was shot just shortly after the dinosaurs vansihed from the face of the earth and that I want you to keep in mind: "We have no chance, so we take it!". Right on!

Don't need anything - should your movie ever make it in some physical form to the shores of Germanistan, drop me a note, I come by. All luck, all thumbs pressed, all fingers crossed for your film.

Haha! Thanks a heap! Your contribution and your words are awesome, tipota! Was wondering who that was!

DVXuser rocks so hard. Stay tuned for more updates as we really dig into shooting.

Looks awesome kholi, Your reels amazing man, looking foreward to seeing the finished project. I will donate a buck or two to you all.

This looked so awesome, I just had to donate a few bucks to it. It seems like a good concept and I admire those who just go out there and do something with quality, happens way to rarely IMO. I also like the idea with the different pills on the kickstarter page.

Kudos to you, Kholi, and of course the entire cast&crew, looking forward to seeing the finished project.

Cheers
Nicolas

Wow Nicolas!

Major thanks for your contribution! Was wondering who put that up!

Thanks for your kind words as well. We're gunning to not only pull this off but do it well. Looking forward to showing you the final product.

Maran - thanks a lot, sir. Any and everything helps, especially spreading the word.

This is a pretty DVXuser-centric effort so im glad to see some user interests.
