GH2 Gh2 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter?

Does anyone know if I could get a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter to hook a rode videomic into a gh2 from radioshack or any other non-online store? I need one by monday and I don't have time to order one.

yes, the radioshack adapter will work.

Just don't get the kind made for cell phones.
There are different kinds of 2.5 jacks, some are designed to have the stereo pinout the same as a 3.5mm jack (this is the kind you want), and some are designed to have a mic channel first, then stereo connections on the next 2 parts of the plug (like for a phone headset).

One will work, the other will mix up channels, either giving you monaural sound or no sound at all.
