Gh2 16mm old film look.

thanks, i'll use your help when i'll prepare the finished online (will take a few months) :)

PM me when the time comes:) by the way I'll be posting a 10 min narrative short film shot on the GH2 soon where I'll be using several techniques to filmify (probably not a word) the footage. I'll make a thread soon. Sorry to the OP for sidetracking, very good first try! -nothing beats some vintage glass:)

great! let me know when you post it, and put down all the grain post specs you did.. so i could get an idea of the general workflow.
(and try to put the film, or a sample of it in full res for downloading, cause i'll need to study the grain very closely) :)
i also plan to shoot my next project with a few FD's for the soft vintage look, and a cinemorph filter i'll test soon.

Henry has a free animated film grain HQ video that you can download overlay in NLE.

thanks, already downloaded his file and tried to use it. that's why i said it seems rather repeated animation grain so i wasn't sure if it works for me.
and i also think it's 16mm grain, perhaps it's a bit rough, i'm not sure. wanna try and get a 35mm one.
Stefanos, if i use premiere, i put the file on overlay, right? did you get an exact opacity? that can take lots of testings.
