GH13 with Canon FD/FL Lens Thread.

Is the concave fd 35mm f/2 better than regular one? The concave is the one that has a chrome nose and yellows (I think) but I hear it's sharper?

FD lenses are definatly the way to go with the gh2. I just got a 50mm F1.4 and a 28mm F2.8. The 50mm is amazing but the 28mm flares up a lot. Kinda bugs me since it flares when its not even in direct light.

Im looking for maybe 2 of the lenses, what you think for:
FD 50mm f1.4
FD 85mm f1.8
im gone to use my GH1 to make short movies.

This thread is awesome. That's to the OP for starting a good thing, and for all the contributors.

What is the consensus about the 50mm f1.8? I guess it is slightly slower and softer than the reference 50mm f1.4, but is it worth it? These usually sell for about half the price than the f1.4, so I'm just wondering.

I saw a test in vimeo comparing both lenses using a GH1 in exactly the same conditions, and the 1.4 was slightly brighter at maximum aperture (no surprise there) but I think the f1.8 looks surprisingly good.

I found this low light video using the 50mm f1.8 on a GH1 and I really liked it. Nice and cinematic. Can we enbed videos in this section of the forum?

I personally like my 24mm f2.8 more than my 28mm f2.8 canon fd. I find that 4mm difference to be drastic, and color rendition to be a bit better. I have not had the chance to test the 28mm f2 but I can imagine that being nicer. Has anyone used the 24 & 28 F2 side by side? How do they compare?
