GH13 GH1 still going strong after 2+ years

It is a great little camera. I had one sold it and got another one because I liked it so much. Loved shooting in 720p also with reduced jello and 50p.

Ditto on the 720p, for this type of work for minimal jello, it's perfect. There's not much strobing from the 1/125 when 60 is rendered as 30 for Vimeo and its acceptable for sports anyway plus you have the option of smooth slow mo when needed.

On a smoother day I can shoot 1/60 but have to be real careful with motion blur from camera motion, plus if you use post stabilisation ( which I didn't on this video) it accentuates the blur even more.

GH13 renders some nice colours if you use the right settings and expose correctly, a nice day helps too....haha.

14-140, best lens I own, never comes off that camera. I have a 2nd GH13 that gets the other lenses.

Long live the GH13.

Certainly can't beat the GH13, still got 7 of them and the 14-140 is the go to lens for all outdoor shooting, brilliant all round lens for 80% of productions..Hoped you liked Perth Rambo, the sleepy little city is certainly changing fast but still a lovely place you shoot video..
Cheers

Yeah Perth still looks the same to me today as my first visit there in 1970, clean new buildings nothing old.

This was another nice GH13 shoot just late last year in Bora Bora, Tahiti. The chopper footage held up well.

Great work!

If you still have the page, can you link to the cheap lav you used in this video? I'm looking for an affordable mic for productions similar to this one.

It was just one of those $15 cheap lavs you see at JayCar. I have a Sennheiser Lav i paid $300 for and its no better so i don't use it.
