GH1 Shipping Today! According to Panasonic Sales Rep

Well i wrote the B&H utility listed earlier, would be happy to make a more robust one if you have sites in mind and could make it SMS a bunch of people that subscribe to it.

You could sign up to get an SMS. They didn't announce it till after. that's how everyone got it, news sites, etc...that nation-wide text message.

Comparing an app that sends a few dozen SMS to one sending hundreds of thousands is a little silly. Oh wait, this is an internet forum, disregard my logic.

kinda weird but i'm actually enjoying this thread. i can read about others who share in my troubles with obtaining this camera and when somebody reports they found one, it makes me feel good. this is making me pathetic.

Well, Shopatron has officially charged my card. It's no longer pending, it's actually charged. I haven't received and email about it shipping yet. I think I'll call them today.

Nice man! Mine is supposed to arrive today it's been sitting at the distribution center since yesterday according to tracking...but another package I have coming today is already "out for delivery." RUHROH SCROOBY!

SWEET! MY NIKON ADAPTER JUST GOT HERE!! I CAN PUT THE REAR CAP ON IT AND USE IT TO SERVE DIP AS THAT'S ALL IT WILL BE GOOD FOR until xmas 2029!

I think it's funny/ironic when we all get so happy that someone took our money that we run around like a kid at Christmas screaming, "They took my money! They finally took my money!"

Somewhere in there is evidence of what a sad state of affairs this GH1 ordering process is. :lipsrseal
