Yeah that's way too greedy. $2000 and put instructions on how the buyers can get $160 cashback from Microsoft and he'll sell them all in one day.
$2500 is way too much. He'll never sell them at that price, just look at DreamKitty on Amazon. If I were to spend $2500 i might as well get 5D mK2.
Just got off the phone placing my order with regal, its more than the 1499 price tag but much less than the ebay offer. Will keep you guys up to date but they said they are getting in 26 today.

I placed an order with JR on July 7th. Just called, and they had no ETA.

They probably aren't.
I didn't even have to search on Resellerratings.com, Regal Camera is listed directly under the worse store section. You will never get that camera from them at that price, that's if they even have this camera.

You could say the same thing about how B&H got a few in before J&R but not 'the big shipment'. Personally I think a few employees at B&H got them in and sold them off to a few local shops. Just a theory.
That's BIG apples to BIG apples my friend... curious but no surprise there.

Yeah I placed an order with iBuyDigital.com (Same kind of establishment as Regal) on July 1st, and still nothing. I was calling every day, but have given up.
I did keep my order there...only because:
•*When I ordered the camera was $1460 from them. (The $40 discount would _NOT_ be enough for me to consider ordering from a fishy place, under normal circumstances)
• I have called enough times that they've upgraded me to overnight shipping.
• I don't know where I am on their "list" -- but I imagine I'm higher up there than J&R, where I also have an order in.
iBuyDigital is known for grey market cameras. They're listing at $1649 now, which is suspiciously similar to the price to convert the $1899CAD price to USD....
So we'll see. They put a hold on my credit card, but the hold has since been released. If my order from J&R comes through first, I'll just call AmEx and have them block iBuyDigital from charging me. Voila! (I hope)
