Also, the customer service line or whatever is open until 9 PM est. so for me, it was 6 PM cali time.

There's a pending transaction with panasonic for the camera funds on my account.

Guy from Shopatron says mine is still on track for 6/29 and he doesn't know why people who ordered later got theirs sooner but he says that it should not be like that and is probably not true...pfft.
 
Just got mine! So awesome...Henry's Photo was top notch. Couldn't be more happier with them and how they handled the shipping process from Canada to California.
 
WOOT, SHIPPED!

Ordered on June 3rd, 2009 from Panasonic Direct and got an INT#.

These items should arrive by date 06/29/09.

I should have paid for 2 day shipping...
 
still nothing on my May 27th order. i am dying here.

also, chaos, did you get an email?

id call panasonic to get an update but i'm sure all they'll tell me is : "its going to ship today sir."

The product page for the GH1 does not give the option to place an order anymore!!! The listing used to allow pre-order with 1 - 2 month availability and now the page... a few days before they are supposed to start shipping... no longer lists this camera as available for pre-order. WTF? I was told my camera would ship tomorrow. I hope that is still the case.

what are you talking about? its not listed as pre-order any more as it is now listed as IN STOCK and you can click on ADD TO CART. and you'll probably get it tomorrow while i'll keep waiting for my may 27th order.
 
you got that right. if they could just give me a damn WHY this is happening I could feel so much more relaxed.

-also, i just looked at the old email I got from panasonic back when my gh1 battery shipped. and it said it was shipped at 11:35pm.... so maybe the camera will ship late today?
 
my camera just shipped!!!!! possible bad news: it says estimated deliver 6/28 and I PAYED for next day shipping and my email even lists it as NEXT DAY. so hopefully its just a misprint and it'll show up tomorrow. either way i'm going to call them tomorrow.

also, i did NOT get a tracking number for some reason :/

BUT! I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!

Ordered mine on June 8th. Panasonic told me today that mine would ship out today. My credit card has been charged. I think it's FINALLY on it's way (can't check the tracking # because I left it at work). I've got my list of test shots I want to do. I've got Canon FD lenses and some old Olympus OM lenses from my 1980's still camera. Night stuff, car stuff, nature stuff, city stuff, time lapse, etc. I can't wait!
