GH1 sensor cleaning

How does one clean the sensors for GH1 and Gf1 aside from the usual swab? Because I noticed that any spec of dust is reflected on the screen mostly when using wide angle glass lenses like the old FDs. specifically from 50mm and down. it disappears when I use 80mm and up.Maybe its the way the lens is configured.I thought at first it was the lens or a camera bug, but when I examined the state of the sensors, there were tiny spots on it it and the simple blower wont make them go away.I dont have swab kit around so I was wondering if there were other ways.

I was just going to take mine to the local pro shop. $50 to clean it, but that's just one of those things I wouldn't want to risk doing myself. I'm still debating whether or not I should try to declick the aperture rings on my lenses myself or them sent out.

i bought the solution called eclypse...no sweat the spots were gone finally.just wipe with a swab after you drop the solution and thats it....its that easy. no need to p[ay 50$ not worth because solution only cost 10$...and no sweat.

just got it from a local photo store in my town...but go to photosol.com, the solution eclipse is the one I got.

You can buy plain Methanol from any hardware store in huge quantities for $2, which is exactly the same thing.

I'd probably just take it in to a pro, I wouldn't want to risk damaging a sensor or any other electronics there. The only thing I would personally use is one of those small air hand pumps to blast off any dust.

No you use a swab and after dropping it both sides of the swab, wipe gently on one side then again on the other...let it dry and thats that....no need for fears that may affect other components.Gh1 is built like a tank inside....i used it on my 2 GH1 and my GF1 as I was seeing spots on the screen specially when it has minimum aperture.Thats the best way to test your sensor if it is clean, shoot at a white bright wall with aperture to its lowest.make sure that your lens adapter, if you are using one, is in lock position.
