GH1 rig a bit too light

I bought a GH1 to run on a merlin with some primes but after setting it up a few times I think the camera needs some more mass to make it run better.

Anyone got a good idea on how to add 200-400 grams, it would be best to add it on the bottom of the camera not off the the shoe for CoG sake.

A slab of lead? Or depleted uranium. But best is probably a steel steel slate with a hole drilled through it for the tripod screw.

sand bags may work also. what about quick release foots? how heavy are they? but yeah martti's idea seems the obvious though you might need a longer screw
