edit: *I think i put this in the wrong place
soz*
Ok Money wise Both fit into my budget of 145000yen
Both shoot great video and both have awesome features and various problems.
I have scoured vimeo and every which blog/forum for info to make this decision any easier. No real luck.
Good ideo is a nececity for me otherwise I would alredy be on a Nikon D90.
I have a multimedia design background and have used Film DSLRs for a long time so I am not new to the creativity and the techical aspect of making the pictures and movies. it just comes down to which is the best for my budget and which can handle doing this:

I will be doing other work with the camera of course, but it needs to be able to do this, better quality but still maintain the on the go street interview pace. at least... the rest can come later.
I do intend to take a tonne of stills with the camera as well but apart from the GH1's low light EVF ability i don't think there the differences in stills quality are enough to sway me either way. In the end it comes down to Shin Yamato Damacy...
If you were doing it, which camera would you choose?
