Does this take into account crop factors since the GH1 is getting more the center of that lens?

Maybe a moot point.

How do they know anti alias, NR etc settings equate to which camera?

Barry usually tests the cameras with out of box settings, though sometimes he also tries to optimize the two.

The 7D has a 1.6x crop factor and the GH1 has a 2x so already I'd say the difference is negligible, especially since the better performance for both cameras is already going to be on the edges of the chart, and the center is gonna get ****ed even if it's using the center of the lens.

At that point if you're worrying about that I'd point out that the GH1 has to be a bit further away which means that it has more air between it and the subject, which means there might be some distortion! Oh no!

Yup! I just got my GH1 for about $350 (body only, new) here in Japan where I live. I have mixed feelings about Panasonic offering this to the western world. I mean sure, you guys deserve it and it would be the right thing to do but - it kind of conflicts with my plans to take over the world! Muahahhaaaaa... <BEG>
